Growing up in the child welfare system, experiencing exploitation and violence, and becoming a young mother profoundly shaped Cassandra's understanding of vulnerability and the systems intended to protect it.
Today, she uses those experiences—not simply to tell her story, but to educate professionals, empower communities and advocate for meaningful change.
