BIOGRAPHY

Cassandra is a graduate of the Paralegal program at Seneca College and is currently completing a BA (Hons) Degree in Law and Society with a Double Major in Criminology.

She has experience working on both trial-level cases and appeals, covering a range of legal issues. Throughout her career, Cassandra has developed strong skills in legal research, factum writing, client communication, court communication, and memo drafting.

Cassandra witnessed the profound effects of police misconduct, substance abuse, and gang violence in her marginalized community growing up. Driven by a deep desire to advocate for the vulnerable, she aspires to become a Criminal Lawyer focused on defending individuals who have suffered injustices at the hands of the state.

As a Victims Advocate at Diamond & Diamond Law, Cassandra raises awareness about sexual assault and human trafficking through education and empowerment. A proud mom, former foster youth, and survivor of human trafficking, she has turned her pain into purpose—using her voice to inspire hope, spark systemic change, and promote healing through understanding and compassion.
